Welcome to Fern's Wedding Media! I'm Fern, and I'm eager to share my passion for capturing the beautiful moments in life. Living on the stunning east Kent coast, with my husband & 2 rescue cats. I enjoy going on adventures & travelling. Whether I'm exploring nature visiting new locations, I always have a camera ready to encapsulate those special memories.

About Me....

If I had a pound for every time someone says to me that they hate having their picture taken, or being filmed, I wouldn't be here! I'd be living it up, retired & sunning myself in the Maldives or somewhere similar! I get that, I also cringe when people take my picture (I was cringing inside when this photo was taken of me to promote...well, me!).

However, your wedding day is one of those occasions where you would massively regret not capturing those moments in images or video. That content would include you, at your best; suited & booted, hair & make-up done in your beautiful chosen dress. But even more important is family & friends who are there celebrating with you. Loved ones, who over time will go, but never be forgotten & enjoying themselves in moments which are captured on camera for you to cherish forever. Not to mention a beautiful & maybe expensive location which may have decorations, painstakingly chosen or made by you to put your own personal stamp on the day. My work is not just about the visuals & audio of your day, it's about how it makes you feel when you see the final product.

This is what I love to do; document all those things through my photography or content creation that you can look back on for years to come.

I never do photography or content creation at the same time. Why? Because whatever task I am doing for you, I want to concentrate on that solely to give it my 100% & make it beyond perfect for you. I tried doing both once & it played havoc with my OCD! I love a challenge, but would always know my limitations & be honest with you from the outset.

I have experience of around 100 weddings now that I've captured over the last 8 years, mainly photography, as content creation was something I branched out into only recently during 2025.

Martin, my husband, keeps behind the scenes & is my technical wizard on most things if I get stuck. My technical knowledge is great, but only goes so far! He very occasionally will accompany me to a wedding to capture content creation highlight videos on his phone. But he limits these to 2-3 times a year as he works nights full-time.

One thing I guarantee if you book me, is plenty of fun & laughs in a laid back manner, no stiff poses yet gentle direction & moments that you missed at the time on your special day, but I captured them for you to look back on & not just see the moment, but feel it too.
